SRD, Simulateur de revenu disponible, or “disposable income simulator” in English, is an open source project by CREEi, which is the “Research Chair in Intergenerational Economics” at HEC Montreal.
It is implemented in Python, and covers an array of Canada, Ontario and Quebec taxation and benefits regimes, including federal and provincial income tax, employment insurance, old age security, social assistance, and more.
In its current implementation it is only capable of performing calculations with regard to a single calendar year at a time.
